Description
Two roses, and an argument between them. ITIVE sets Bulgarian rose — cool, powdery, faintly green — against the darker, jammier Turkish, then refuses to resolve the tension.
Apple and pink pepper keep the heart from turning solemn; clove pulls it back toward the East. What settles underneath is unmistakably oriental: patchouli, cyperus oil, and frankincense, the note that makes the whole composition feel older than it is.
